The American Verse Project is a collaborative project between the University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) and the University of Michigan Press. The project is assembling an electronic archive of volumes of American poetry prior to 1920. |

Austin International Poetry Festival
Since its inception in 1992, the AIPF has grown to the largest non-juried poetry festival in the United States. The first AIPF was in April 1993, with one venue. From the beginning, AIPF attracted a strong contingent of international poets, especially from England, Canada, and Australia. Through the years, AIPF has grown and matured-garnering regular funding from the City of Austin, the State of Texas, and the Texas Writer's League. |

We are an interactive community for men and women 18 years of age and over. We have united in a warm friendship setting resembling that of a coffee house to read and give feedback on one another’s work. We encourage and build our writing techniques through feedback, weekly contests, recognition as poet of the month and forum discussions. |
