Um Poema Encontrado

New York: Voc faz exame de um trem que se rasgue atravs dos
versts. Sente como se os trens estavam funcionando sobre suas orelhas.

Por muitas horas o trem voa ao longo dos bancos do Hudson
aproximadamente dois ps da gua. Nos batentes, os passageiros
funcionados para fora, compram acima grupos do aipo, e do
funcionamento para trs dentro, chewing os stalks enquanto vo.

As pontes pulam sobre o trem com freqncia crescente.

Em cada batente uma histria adicional cresce nos telhados.
Finalmente as casas com quadrados e pontos das janelas levantam-se
acima. No importa como distante voc joga para trs sua cabea,
no h nenhum alto.

Tempo e outra vez, os plos do telgrafo so feitos da madeira.
Talvez parece somente essa maneira.

Nas gargantas estreitas entre os edifcios, uma sorte do
adventurer-vento howls e funciona afastado ao longo dos versts das dez
avenidas. Abaixo dos fluxos uma massa humana contnua. Somente suas
capas impermeveis impermeveis amarelas silvam como samovars e
chamejam. As ascenses da construo e com ela o guindaste, como se
o edifcio era desprendido acima da terra por seu pigtail. duro

Os edifcios esto incandescendo com eletricidade; suas uniformente
janelas do entalhe so como um estncil. Sob toldos os papis
encontram-se nos heaps, entregados por caminhes. impossvel
rasgar-se afastado deste espetculo.

Na meia-noite aqueles que saem dos teatros bebem uma ltima soda. As
poas da chuva esto refrigerando. Os povos pobres limpam os ossos.
Em todos os sentidos est um labirinto dos trens sufocados por
vaults. No h nenhuma esperana, seus olhos no acostumado a
ver tais coisas.

Esto comeando evoluir um gait americano fora das etapas cautelosas
dos indians nos trajetos de Manhattan vazio. Talvez parece somente
essa maneira.
