O Mar History

Onde esto seus monumentos, suas batalhas, martyrs? Onde est sua
memria tribal? Sirs, nesse vault cinzento. O mar. O mar travou-os
acima. O mar history.

Primeiramente, havia o leo heaving, pesado como o caos; ento, luz
do likea na extremidade de um tnel,

a lanterna de um caravel, e aquela eram genesis. Ento havia os
gritos embalados, a merda, moaning:

Exodus. O osso soldou pelo coral ao osso, mosaics mantled pelo
benediction da sombra do tubaro,

aquela era a arca do convnio. Veio ento dos fios arrancados da luz
solar no assoalho de mar

o harp plangent do bondage babylonian, como os cowries brancos
aglomerados como manacles nas mulheres afogadas,

e aqueles eram os bracelets do marfim da cano de Solomon, mas o
oceano manteve-se girar pginas em branco

procurando o history. Vieram ento os homens com os olhos pesados
como as escoras que se afundaram sem tmulos,

os brigands que barbecued o gado, saindo de seus reforos charred
como a palma saem na costa, ento espumar, maw rabid

do real porturio engolindo da onda tidal, e daquele era Jonah, mas
onde seu renascimento?

Senhor, travado neles areias do mar para fora l aps a
prateleira moiling do recife, aonde os men-o'-war flutuaram para
baixo;

strop nestes culos de proteo, eu gui-lo-ei l eu mesmo.
todo o subtle e submarino, atravs dos colonnades do coral,

aps as janelas gothic do mar ventila a onde a garoupa crusty,
onyx-onyx-eyed, os piscamentos, tornados mais pesados por suas jias,
como uma rainha bald;

e estes groined cavernas com os barnacles pitted como a pedra so
nossas catedrais,

e a fornalha antes dos furaces: Gomorrah. Os ossos moeram por
moinhos de vento no marl e no cornmeal,

e aquele era lamentations que eram os lamentations justos, ele no
era history;

vieram ento, como o scum no bordo de secagem do rio, as lingetas
marrons das vilas mantling e congealing em cidades,

e na noite, nos choirs dos midges', e acima deles, os spires que
lancing o lado do deus

porque seu jogo do filho, e aquele eram o testament novo.

Vieram ento as irms brancas que clapping s ondas o progresso, e
aquele era emancipation -

jubilation, jubilation de O - desaparecer rapidamente como o lao do
mar seca no sol,

mas aquele no era history, aquela era somente f, e ento cada
rocha quebrou em sua prpria nao;

veio ento o synod das moscas, a seguir veio o heron secretarial, a
seguir veio a r-gigante que grita para um voto,

os fireflies com idias brilhantes e bastes gostam de embaixadores
jorrando e do mantis, como polcias khaki,

e furred lagartas dos juizes que examinam cada caso prxima, e ento
nas orelhas escuras dos ferns

e na risada de sal das rochas com seus pools do mar, havia o som como
um boato sem nenhum eco

do history, realmente comeando.
