Chanson

À son repére de lycée junior, elle seul chante devant le sort de
nous --

son soprano de voix, étonnant, presque une femme. C'est le notre
père en français,

la nouvelle langue faisant son étrange, dehors là, entièrement
emplumé et

préparer pour n'importe quoi. Nous reposant ensemble -- sa mère et
père séparés -- pouvons

entendre la raquette du trafic secouer les rues principales de la
ville de Jersey comme elle chante

Nous livrer du mal, et je me demande peux elle me voir dans
l'obscurité ici, des années

de la croyance, sur le bord des larmes. Il n'importe pas. Elle ne
manque pas un battement, garde

à temps, dans l'air, alors que dans notre silence commun je chuchote,
chanter, aimer, chanter votre coeur dehors !
