A Vara

H uma forquilha em uma filial de um bordo antigo, enorme, um de um
bosque de tais rvores, onde eu escale s vezes e sente e olhe para
fora milhas excedentes dos vales e de montes baixos. Hoje em esquis eu
fiz exame de um amigo para mostrar-lhe as rvores. Ns ajustamo-nos
para fora para baixo da estrada, giramos dentro na pista que algumas
semanas h, quando as rvores estavam quase vazias e as neves de
novembro no tinham vindo ainda, colocado coberto grossa nas folhas
vermelhas e amarelas brilhantes, cruzadas o swamp, passado o furo da
adega que prende o remains do farmhouse 1850s que tinha deslizado para
baixo nela por estgios nos thirties e nos forties, seguidos a
estrada registrando overgrown e veio s rvores. Eu escalei at a
vara, e esta vez olhada no na distncia mas na rvore prpria,
seu tronco contorted pelo esforo terrvel desse tempo em que teve
seu tempo duro. Aps o trauma cresce mais menos contnuo. Pode ser
alguma tal hora vem agora em cima de mim. Teria que fazer com
unaccomplished, e com a unio tentada do solitude e da felicidade.
Ento um rifle soou, diversas vezes, completamente altas, atravs do
vale, percusses do costume do mastery masculino sobre a terra -- o
mais gracioso, mais alerta dos animais que esto sendo escolhidos
morrer. Eu olhei para ver se meu amigo se ouvisse, mas estava pisando
aproximadamente nela esquis, estudando as rvores, sorrindo a
herself, seus bordos enchidos ainda, porque tudo ns tnhamo-las
drenado, com centenas e milhares dos beijos. Apenas ento olhou acima
-- a maneira, do ponto baixo elevao, o deus blesses -- e o azul
dela os olhos brilhados fora do preto e do branco do bark e da neve,
como os amantes que esto andando em um mordente gelado se congelando
do toque do dia ao mordente gelado, beija, a seguir shudder para
descobrir o calor que espera dentro de suas bocas.
