Pingüino De Magellanic

Ni el payaso ni el niño ni negro ni blanco pero verticle y una
inocencia que preguntaba vistieron en noche y nieve: La madre sonríe
en el marinero, el pescador en el astronaunt, pero el niño del niño
no sonríe cuando él mira a niño del pájaro, y del océano
desordenado el pasajero inmaculado emerge en el luto nevoso.

Estaba fuera duda que el pájaro del niño allí en los archipiélagos
fríos cuando me miraba con sus ojos, con su océano antiguo eyes:
tenía ni los brazos ni las alas pero pequeños remos duros en sus
lados: era tan viejo como la sal; la edad del agua móvil, y él me
miraban de su edad: sé desde entonces que no existo; Soy un gusano en
la arena.

seguía habiendo las razones de mi respecto en la arena: el pájaro
religioso no necesitó volar, no necesitó cantar, y a través de su
forma era visible su sal sangrada alma salvaje: como si una vena del
mar amargo hubiera estado quebrada.

Pingüino, viajero estático, sacerdote deliberado del frío, saludo
su sal vertical y envidio su plumed orgullo.
