Hi Everyone,
I hope someone out there has the answers I need about Affirmations and Visualization. I am being told the reason my wishes don't become reality, manifest is because I am not doing this correctly.
What is the "Proper" way or "Certain way" to word affirmations to get them into the subconscious so they resonate with what I am trying to manifest?
AND!
Is there a proper way to visualize what I want to make it more than a dream?
Any answers would be most appreciated!
Love and Peace,

The most efficient way to live dreams, and to just do it. ACTION. I know most people say "well Nick you must be using the law of attraction"----I say phooey!! <---?
I am a man of action thereby I would rather be doing something, then just simply waiting for the 'genie" to come out a bottle and hand over my dreams.
I have some interesting blogs posted on my myspace, that may fuel some inspiration for what I am talking about.
Let me make this clear, I am not saying that I disagree with the magnetic ability of the universe---I am just suggesting that alongside YOUR AFFIRMATIONS you jump into behaviors that are compassionate to others and DIFFERENT to you, that way your brain will accept "new ideas" much more smoothly----your brain will take you more seriously.

I like what Nick said, "Your brain will take you seriously." :-)
When I work with people on the very issue you asked about I talk about "self-talk."
How do you speak to yourself or about yourself?
Here are some questions to help you guide your thought life. That is really where it starts:
1) How do you speak to yourself about...yourself?
If most people were to speak to other people they know as badly as they speak to themselves, no one would have anything to do with that person. In your own self-talk, how do you reject yourself? How do you practice self-hatred in your words toward yourself?
2) Oath or Vow - talk.
Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) - Cite This Source
oath /o[ch650][ch952]/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ohth] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
noun, plural oaths /o[ch650]z, o[ch650][ch952]s/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ohthz, ohths] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation.
1. a solemn appeal to a deity, or to some revered person or thing, to witness one's determination to speak the truth, to keep a promise, etc.: to testify upon oath.
2. a statement or promise strengthened by such an appeal.
3. a formally affirmed statement or promise accepted as an equivalent of an appeal to a deity or to a revered person or thing; affirmation.
4. the form of words in which such a statement or promise is made.
5. an irreverent or blasphemous use of the name of God or anything sacred.
6. any profane expression; curse; swearword: He slammed the door with a muttered oath.
Idiom
7. take an oath, to swear solemnly; vow.
In what way do you make oaths or vows that trap you into patterns of unhelpful thought that keep you from progressing in the way you think you should? There are lots of things you might way and not realize they can be self-fullfulling oaths or vows. Here are some examples:
"I'll never look that good"
"I'll will never be that smart"
"I can't do that!"
"I am so stupid!"
"I'm loosing my mind."
"I'm just not smart enough."
"I will never treat my kids the way my parents treated me." (this could be good, but for many people it is really a setup for failure unless they have some kind of coaching to deal with the learned behaviour garnered from that bad expereince).
These are just a few obvious examples, but not a bad place to start from. You have to be intentional about choosing to walk a different direction.

give us an example of something you want and I will help you out!
ACTION yes THOUGHTS YES but I am betting you are stuck on what your Actions should be and your thought processes. There are times yourself and others can hold you down from becoming a better person...
