Need prayers for my 5 year old stepson

2 years ago my stepson's biological mother gave my husband full custody of our son. When she did she told him that she was not his mom anymore, I was his mom and she was only her daughters mom now. We let her live with us rent free and we even bought everything her daughter needed at the time.
When she finally moved out she didnt contact us for over a month, then her and her boyfriend and thier friends started calling at 11 pm at night wanting us to wake Ryan up and bring him to theri house because they were having a party.
He later told us right after christmas that when they were living with us she had played with his privates and ger boyfriend had pinched his boobs.
So we notified the cops and he was interviewed 3 times, once by a lady at a Advocy center, who said that she would risk her credintials that it happened. He was 3 years old at the time, and the cops let her go. She lied and said she was pottytraining him, which was a total lie, she didnt have anything to do with potty training him, my husband and I did.
They asked who were they supose to believe, a grown woman or a 3 year old.
So anyways, for over a year she didnt try to contact us what so ever, then in Febuary this year we got papers that said she wanted full custody of him, child support and my husband to go to jail for contempt of court. We never asked her for any money, nor did she give us any.
So she ended up with visits every other sat. for 8 hours. They went fine for awhile, then Ryan started acting differently, he was punching himself in the face, barking like a dog and just withdrawn.
He refused to tell us what was going on though. He also got diaganosed with Osteocondritis Dessicans in his knee's and Arthritis during the visits, which the Osteocondritis is cysts between the lining of his knee's and he has a 50/50 chance of having surgery when he turns 13.
So we started noticing the old boyfriend, now her husband treats Ryan awful, he talks to him in a rough tone and just treats him like crap.
Finally one day Ry broke down and was crying and shaking. He said that Cassie (the birth mother) tells him he's crazy in the head, he's stupid, dumb and she doesn't love him. Then to make matters worse her husband Bobby locks him in the dryer for punishment. He says he beats and beats on the door until he lets him out and she lets him do it!
We called cps and they unfounded the case by saying no kid could fit in a dryer when we have pics of her other two kids in her dryer.
They also let our 5 year old play with bottle rockets and he burnt his thumb and it got infrcted.
So we went to the procecuting attorneys office and she took us to the court house and we got a 30 day restarining order where they dont get visits until we go to court, which is the 14th of this month.
Now because she's hiding from being served they are trying 2 have my husband held in contempt of court again, because we wont let her have him on her visits , but the judge stopped it.
She is also telling her friends lies about us and she herself has sent me a message on myspace saying she wants to kill me, and now I have one form her friend saying he will slit my throat when he see's me.
And again the cops are doing nothing, tehy say it is hear say.
But I have the messages to prove it!
So please pray that the judge will issue a 10 year restaining oreder so our baby wont be hurt by them anymore. Were afariad that if they get mad they will hurt him more. In her care he was cute by a ex boyfriend, who he still stayed with and he has a scar on his cheek to prove it and a busted lip from where she punched him in the mouth.
So I'm begging everyone to please pray for him so he doesn't have to go around them anymore.

My daughter was abused by my ex- so I'm very empathetic.  We both had to learn forgiveness, and faith in god. I also pray for a quick positive court decision, the waiting is hell.

These are the stories that anger a person to the point that you forget that we do have a higher power to pray to and you would like to go and take revenge yourself. In all that we know about what the officials should, and could be doing, that alone is terrifying, that nothing is ever done, even with proof. I have heard these stories many times. I will not only pray for your famliy and that beautiful child, but I believe that prayer is in order for our gorvenment and the way things are handled as well.

UPDATE
We went to court and she got hr visits back, then she didn't show up to her next visit, so time went on, (without her visiting) and finally she called me and agreed to let me adopt him!! YEAH!!!!
So as of Jan. 2nd I became his mommy forever!
I'm so excited, as is my son! He asked to take off school to go to court with us! I'm just thankful to everyone who prayed with us and help us through it! It was tough, but in the end the best was done for him, (My son!)
I'm just so happy and even though we went broke, and sold almost everything we owned, finally after almost a year it's done!
So thabks to everyone who prayed for us and wished for everything to work out! We owe you all! And God because I know without him it would have never happened!
