I think we should have a thread about resolutions.
What we are resolved to do.
Why we want to do this.
and
To keep up on it and make sure we STAY resolved Smiley

As many people, I tend to make resolutions that I never follow through on or I kind of drift away from when it becomes too hard.  SO i thought a board on the resolutions would help keep those of us who stray, in check Smiley

MY resolutions:

Finish Book 2 -
I want to finish book two, I dont really need to make it a resolution, except that with work, i have slowed my writing, so I need to pick it back up.    Plus if I can finish book two, then I can write my stand alone Smiley

Push the Goodwill Treaty -
Since Rob left for Korea I havn't spent enough time on projects I had commited to working on.   I want to make sure that I dont ignore my responsiblitie s just because I am having a rough time.

Save up just in case -
As my search continues, I am more and more looking towards self publishing.   A short intro novella to a vampire series is not catching the eyes of agents or publishers.   So I may be self publishing the first book.   I would like to be able to put a good chunk INTO the book, so I can hopefully see more sales.    With a good self published profit, maybe agents will take note a little more for book two or three.

Be a better listener -
As My life gets more hectic, I find myself trying to multitask.   Which is okay, unless I'm listening to someone.    I need to learn that if I'm on the phone, to stay off the computer.   If i'm listening to a story, dont look out the window.   If my children are telling me about school, to put down my laptop.    I want to start HEARING  not just Listening.
