WASHINGTON (AP) -- The explosion of a star halfway across the universe was so huge it set a record for the most distant object that could be seen on Earth by the naked eye.

Keep an eye out in the news.... Rob just saw a story on CNN in passing that there was a BIG explosion to a star at the tail end of the Little dipper. It supposedly they just saw it for the first time yesterday, and was so bright you could see it without a telescope. This Explosion happened Millions of years ago and it’s only NOW coming into our sight.
Didn’t get full story, but keep your eyes open. It’s exactly what Dr. Turi is talking about! AWESOME.

Hello Dr. Turi,
Thanks for the Pluto warning. I am reading my Moonpower Starguide 2008 book on a daily basis, so I am better prepared than most. In addition to Plutos destructive power entering our midst, the moon is now about to go negative. After today, 21 March 2008 -- it is all downhill for a while! I am not trying to sound negative, but only delivering the facts. We have to watch what we are doing. With spring officially beginning yesterday, the warmer, refreshing, invigorating, crisp air all around, the smells of blooming plants and trees intoxicating the senses, the people will be anxious to get out and about in spite of the waning moon (which they know nothing about to begin with) and do things they would not normally do. Could be disastrous for someone who is not paying attention. A naturally intoxicated child at at play, for example, with his silly head in the clouds, might be looking up when he should be looking down and could run off the edge of a cliff.
You said in Moonpower for the dates of March 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, under the "Partnerships" heading, "The people of the past are coming back." You were right about that. My ex-wife called the other day to tell me that her grandmother had died. Though my ex-wife and I live far apart and speak only on rare occasions, we have always been friendly and family-oriented people in nature and do keep in touch when there is big news to share. The death of her grandmother is not all bad however. She lived a full life, lived to a ripe old age, and was always surrounded by people who loved and cared for her.
I think that now is a good time to start sticking around the house and doing things that need to get done, e.g., cleaning, writing projects, rearranging furniture, painting rooms, fixing things, catching up on neglected family matters, etc.
In light of that thought, I started today by sticking around the house and planting some tepary beans in my garden, weeding, cutting the grass, and playing with my dogs. Tonight, I will get up on my roof and get a good long look at the full moon, then climb down and catch a movie and go to bed. I went out to take a look at her a few moments ago. She is just now peering up over the horizon in full view. You have to wonder how many other thinking people are paying attention...
