WASP's group-based fine-grained security model allows you to select exactly who can access what.  Documents are assigned into groups, such as a "Public" group, or an "Under Development" group.  Then, users can be assigned an access level to a group of documents, such as "View Only," or "View and Modify."  In such a way, you can keep your departments compartmentalized each to their own part of your website, and you can control not only what parts of your website the public sees, but what parts of your site different people in your organization are allowed to view or manage.

Access Level Document Management

Access Level Document Management means that total control is placed in the hands of the primary administrator to control the information viewed by every user or sub-administrator. User names and passwords are employed to do so.

This product does not make segments inaccessible while the links to those segments are viewable to those without access. Links to inaccessible segments do not even appear on the screen to unauthorized users. This small feature may not seem relevant, but it allows total access control to the primary administrator.

Access Levels

Any user with sufficient permissions can manage user access levels. Any user can be assigned an access level to any group of documents. A user can be assigned anything from no access, to full control, or combinations of adding, removing, and editing permissions, for each content group, through a simple permission-editing interface. This means that you can assign any role you want to any user, without being limited by more inflexible permission schemes.

Administration

Making global changes to your site has never been easier! Once you are logged in to your site, click on the "Admin System" button from any document. You will be redirected into your site's Administration System, where you can choose from a variety of aspects of your page to control. To change the entire look and feel of your site, simply click on "Theme Selector," and then select your desired theme. Once you find one that you like, click on "Set as Default," and all future visitors to your site will see it with that theme. If you go to "Search & Nav Options," you can customize the behavior of the search engine and navigation methods, such as the default format of the search results, and select the various sorting and display options, all with just a few mouse clicks. You can also set up access groups and permissions for the security system, view your current bill, and much more from this system.

Advanced and Powerful Full Text Searching

Our powerful fully parsed, multi-level Boolean logic expression search engine provides your users with full text searching which is not commonly available for many small to medium sized business. The results from user queries are displayed in the same logical way that they are displayed throughout the web site; giving the user essential uniformity while visiting your web site.
The Ease of Search Queries

Your web site will offer exceptionally robust searching options. The search query can either be one or more words (a simple search) separated by spaces, or a Boolean expression. By default, all searches are performed in a case insensitive manner. (i.e. entering "APARTMENT" is identical to entering "apartment", "Apartment" or even "ApArtMent")

Simple Searches

If a site visitor enters a single word they will find any search record that contains the exact whole word entered. For example, the search entry "house" would find records containing the word "house", but not "household". If they enter more than one word, it will find entries containing all of the words they entered. For example, "White House" will find entries containing both the word "White" and the word "House" (but not necessarily next to each other or in that order).

To find parts of words, they can use an asterisk (*) to represent missing parts of the word. For example, if they enter "house*" it will match "household", "houses", etc. Similarly, "*house" would find "safe house", etc.

Boolean Searches

To modify and specify their search results they can make use of advanced Boolean logic expressions. If your web site user enters the word or between two search words (with a space between each word and the "or") it will find any record which contains either the first word, or the second word, or both. For example, "house or apartment" would find records containing the word "house" or the word "apartment", or both.

If instead of the word or they entered and it would match only records which contained both the word "house" and the word "apartment". Note that this would be the same as a simple search for "house apartment" because if the Boolean commands are omitted, it defaults to assuming an and between each search word.

To find records, which do not contain a particular word, your user would place the word not before it. For example, "not rancher" would find all the records, which do not contain the word "rancher". A visitor can combine the "and", "or" and "not" commands, for example "Victorian and not rancher" would find records containing the word Victorian but not the word rancher.

For advanced use, a user can use brackets to group the expression. For example, "Victorian" and (white or yellow)" would find all records containing the word "Victorian" and either "white" or "yellow" (or both). If the brackets are omitted, the and command has higher precedence, so "Victorian and white or yellow" would find all records contain "Victorian" and "white", and also records containing "yellow".
